Silverstar registrated accommodation facilities are the ones meet the requirement set by the major hotel associations of Japan – Yado-Net.  The requirement is how the hotels are ready to welcome senior guests in terms of general barrier-free situation of the facilities, meal services, etc.   there are some 700 hotels and ryokans who earned the Silverstar registration.    The registration is not made for 100% barrier free service and facilities, but the list of the hotel is seen as hotels welcoming senior and disabled people.
